What this service is

Mashzo publishes free brewing calculators and the guides that explain the readings behind them. The figures are worked from what you type in and from the constants named on each page.

How we are paid

Mashzo Pro is a subscription at 3 pounds a month. We are the vendor: you pay us, Ellul Solutions Ltd, and we provide the account that keeps your recipes, readings and brew days. There is no third party in the transaction and nobody else bills you.

Online payments. When you connect your own Stripe account and take a payment through a pay link, Mashzo charges a platform fee of 1% of that payment, in addition to Stripe's own processing fee. Stripe deducts both from the payment before it is paid out to you; Mashzo never holds your customers' money. The rate that applies is the one shown in your account on the day the pay link is created, and a change to it applies only to links created afterwards.

An index of every calculator on the site with its worked example.

No warranty

The calculators do arithmetic on the figures you give them, using the constants named under each one. They are not a laboratory measurement, and where duty or a label depends on a strength you must have it determined by the method HMRC's guide sets out.
